NCBA Launches EasyBuild to Woo Aspiring Homeowners

NCBA bank has launched a property financing solution dubbed EasyBuild, with the aim of providing homebuyers with construction solutions. The product was launched on the 28^th of July, 2021 and will enable customers to have all service providers needed for construction at their disposal with the goal to build their dream homes. They include interior designers, architects, project managers, quantity surveyors, structural, mechanical and electrical engineers. The customer will therefore have access to building plans and full professional services.

NCBA Group Retail Banking Director, Titus Mwithiga affirms that EasyBuild will create value for all home dreamers with a less taxing approach to owning a home and refers to having the pool of consultants as a one-stop-shop.

For starters, only customers from Nairobi, Kiambu, Machakos and Kajiado will access the NCBA EasyBuild. “NCBA EasyBuild is a transformational and all-inclusive new product. All Kenyans including those in the Diaspora now have an opportunity to easily build the home of their dreams,” said Mr. Mwithiga.

The lender will offer up to 100% financing of the construction cost and defer loan principal repayments for 9 months during construction. This simply means that the borrower will not pay the principal during the time of construction.

The advantages that come with this package include flexibility in choosing a location, customization of your home to suit your own preferences, working within your budget hence reduced cost of homeownership and instant property value appreciation.
