Apart from the high-security level of a place of investment as the first priority and its proximity to the developing region, water is also a crucial factor for both investors and developers. Renters also highly consider the availability of water when looking for a place to stay.

A place without access to water in a nearby place will make the construction of the building more extravagant, as the investor will be forced to fetch water from far away, incurring a lot of charges. Lack of water in the area will also discourage the renter from staying.

It’s therefore important for every investor and renter to consider the availability of water first due to its multipurpose nature. In considering the availability of water, it’s also the mandate of the investor to ensure that the ideal place selected for investment is not prone to flash floods in case of heavy downpours. This is because, in the case of a skyscraper with prolonged stagnant flash floods, the building will eventually sink, resulting in the loss of innocent lives and the destruction of the property nearby. In the case of flash floods in block or furnished flats, this is going to lead to the destruction of the property inside the flat room, making it a big loss to the renter.

Henceforth, it’s a plea to the real estate investors and engineers involved in the building and construction fields to first do thorough and sufficient reconnaissance of the ideal place for the avoidance of future related problems in real estate. The government should also come through to create awareness among those investors on the importance of choosing an ideal area that is not prone to flash floods leading to quagmires that are going to cause the government to also incur unplanned expenses.
