Agriculture is a rural enterprise that most urban entrepreneurs would conclude as their extra income source. Can it be an extra revenue source in the city or urban areas?

Passion, among many other factors, determines man’s settlement due to occupation or business that determines their livelihood.

Some have settled for corporate employment for lack of alternatives and high levels of living and thrown away their passions, for example, farming, for the urban lifestyle. The idea that farming is a rural adventure has corrupted many and robbed many of their success stories.

Whether modernized or not people still need to feed. Whether advanced in technology or not people need to feed.

One can mention processed food in the urban areas but its source is a farm. What do I drive at, that bare land in the CBD, in the gated community what are you utilizing it with?

Many great investors find themselves with large chunks of extra bare land awaiting appreciation for-profit sales or children inheritance. Others with bare land within gated communities have become bushes rearing animals dangerous to your fellow homeowners.

How about you try out farming on that urban land you have? That gated community could require a supply of poultry or milk, they need not travel so far.

Certainly, your gated community does require fruits, or that company next to your bare land requires fruits to keep healthy, why not supply them with it? Yes, put up that animal farm, or that fruit farm, or any other interesting area or farming.

As long as it is in the parameters of land rules, conceal that bear land as a godown and house those dairy animals, and any other prospective.

Understanding the requirements for that farming passion to be fruitful in the urban areas, e.g. type of soils, water supply among other resources, will cause you to enjoy your passion in the CBD as a landowner.

Land investment requires strategic planning and ‘land’ unlike a car is not supposed to be a luxury but a prospective profit bearer as it awaits its ultimate purpose actualization e.g. apartment constructions.

It only requires you to fence your land area, plant those 5 fruit trees and leave them to grow. Help eliminate land bareness and dangerous bushes in the CBD.
