Here in Nairobi we have the Utawala Container House which is a three -bedroom house ; An open plan , kitchen , living room ,two french doors, shared toilet and bathroom, no roof due to plans of expansion and no insulation.

The home has been welcomed warmly by Kenyans on You tube and it seems some are going to reconsider their choices as they await for part two of the video. Container houses are becoming popular because of the many advantages that come with them. They include ;they are waterproof, earthquake resistance, fire prevention and they can preserve and insulate heat.They are also cost effective and quick to construct, durable and portable.
