Located in the middle of the Aberdare National Park sits a serene, peaceful, beautiful gem that is The Ark Lodge.

Just as the name suggests the Ark Lodge is built to resemble Noah's Ark. This masterpiece of art and architectural beauty was conceived by Graham McCullough in the 1970s and he also went ahead to innovate the Keekorok and Samburu Lodges.

The Ark Lodge has several lounges and balconies that provide good sighting locations for any wildlife that may come through.

It is strategically positioned with a view that overlooks a salt lick and waterhole which means instead of you going to see the wildlife, the wildlife will come to you attracted to the waterhole to quench their thirst.
