Optimism From Investors Following the Hit from Covid-19

The Real Estate sector encountered a big hit from the effects of Covid 19. However, it is slowly recovering after this disastrous period. Despite the sector having reduced profits since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country in March 2020, developers see light at the end of the tunnel.

Speaking to the press, developers are expressing optimism for a bright future. Ken Guchu, an investor at Dhamani Real Estate Company says that the Real Estate industry was also not left out from the negative impacts of the virus. He also says that the remaining months of this year will be a redefining period, for Kenyan Real Estate market after the Real Estate sector was greatly affected by the pandemic.

Ken Guchu noted that since the onset of the year, Kenyans have mustard  the art of living in the new- normal, embracing the need to invest in land property for future prospects and also construction of houses. He acnowledges the importance of having savings and how helpful it can be  in the future especially if one is a real estate investor or someone planning to start a real estate investment. He urged Kenyans to maintain the need for them to continue to invest in Real Estate, Covid 19 not with-standing.Consolata Muthoni Mburu, a woman investor also urges women to invest in real estate and ignore traditional fallacies on property ownership, which has been the case, for most women who have this misguided notion that real estate investments is mostly for men.
