Le Rustique hotel is located along the Mount Kenya Road and its approximately 2.7 km from Nanyuki town and 24 km from Mount Kenya National Park.

From the facility, visitors enjoy the serene view of Mount Kenya. 

The hotel was established with an inspiration of the rustic country manor homes in the Moroccan countryside. The hotel has the following feature:

Rustic rooms

The rooms are just behind the main building and are 10 in number. They are cozy, spacious and have an appealing ambience since they are surrounded by garden.

All the facility rooms are fitted with a desk and a chair, a tv set, spacious en suite bathrooms which have solar hot water, a toilet and a sink. The rooms also have a bathrobe, a hairdryer and organic toiletries that are locally produced.

A self-service coffee or tea station and laundry services are availed at the visitor’s request. All beds in the facility are fitted with mosquito nets. 

Nine of the ten rooms have large queen-sized beds and the tenth offers twin beds. A cot bed for babies and extra beds are availed on request. 

Dining

The facility uses organic and continental ingredients to produce delicious and up to date Mediterranean dishes. The meals are supplemented by a variety off excellent wine list, both local and international, availed at the request by the visitor.

The dining takes place at the intimate mediterranean styled dining rooms that are characterized by open fire, hard word ceilings, modern arts, flag stone walls as well as bright walls, all which maintain the Moroccan ambience.

A boutique

The facility has a boutique store that is located within a walking distance from the swimming pool. The boutique stocked with a variety of home décor items that range from glassware to pottery and carpets. Most of the available items at the boutique, are hand crafted by local artisans in Kenya as well as the east African region. 

A swimming pool

The facility has an open air, heated swimming pool that is surrounded by a garden. The pool is 1.5m deep with an 8 m length. Sunbeds are also available for sun basking with some options for the shades under the gardens canopy. 

The facility also avails ample parking space for all visitors.
