Mafia Island, Tanzania
Mafia Island is the most popular island in Zanzibar, Tanzania. Mafia Island Marine Park, the largest island in the Mafia Archipelago, is home to one of the world’s top dive sites. Between October and April, the whale sharks congregate on the Mafia Island longer than on any other island on the East African coast. One can enjoy swimming beside these gentle giants during that season.
