Abuja International Housing Day

International housing day is an event that is held annually to bring together players in every sector of the real estate business. Real estate players from different industries are able to connect, network and exchange ideas on healthy competitiveness, growth and development of the industry.

The purpose of the event is to create a platform to connect real estate players that are directly or indirectly involved in the real estate business.

It is an avenue for real estate workers to connect and negotiate with each other. People from different walks of life participate in this event and use the opportunity to make inquiries about housing equipment. Sellers and buyers negotiate for future patronage. For instance, those who are yet to make start their building projects are able to negotiate for materials and determine costs for an appropriate budgeting.

The networking is meant to be a long-time deal for future profit-making. People connect and continue networking with each other. They have the access to meet each other for all kinds of real estate business.

The Abuja international housing day took place from the 26th to 29th of July, 2021. This event was an engaging one as people from all walks of life were present, Most especially those involved in the real estate business. 
The event which is the 15th edition gave residents and visitors the opportunity to negotiate with real estate businessmen and women on how to conveniently become a house owner in the present economic situation. 

Present at the event were furniture makers, builders and developers, home security gadget dealers and other housing materials dealers.

Every entity devised and deployed all available publicity strategies including the distribution of flyers indicating what they deal in.  

The real estate managers that were present seized the opportunity to discuss the connection between the nation's economy and real estate business. They identified their mutual impacts and how everyone will positively benefit from the overall outcome of the symbiotic relationship between the two. They also advocated for policy change in some areas especially with regards to allowing full participation of the private sector in addressing housing problems in the country.

"This is an interesting event. The organizer really did well by making the move. Sellers and buyers network together", said a female participant.

"A lot of things are carried out, as you can see people are making inquiries, they are able to negotiate constructively" she added

"Have been participating in real estate annual event, though it has always been memorable and amazing however there's no perfect system, the organizers have done well but I will always say, there will always be better", said another participant.
