VIP Club Volume; State-of-the-Art Night Club Owned by Mike Sonko

The VIP Club Volume is the latest addition to Mike Sonko’s chain of entertainment joints. Located in Shanzu, Mombasa County the club sits on an acre piece of land and holds a capacity of 15,000 people.
The former Nairobi Governor was in Mombasa during the Christmas festivities for a test run of the nightclub. It hosted socialite Vera Sidika, her husband Brown Mauzo and singer Tanasha Donna. Although the club has not been opened officially it has already received the publicity of a high-end joint. There are plans to bring in international artistes for the grand opening.

“We wanted Mombasa people and visitors to have a feel of what is to come. We have not yet set the official opening date, but it will be big,” said Sonko.
The club portrays Mike Sonko’s style of décor from his home in Mua Hills Machakos. The interior has gold-coated lion statues and gold-coated toilets. The walls are lined with Versace fashion label patterns. The couches have white leather material for comfort.
The dance floor is made of bullet-proof glass material and is not stationary.

“It has been constructed in such a way that it will be giving off a feeling like you are in a lift. There will be slight movement up and down because it has been made with a new technology that has never been used before,” Sonko said.
The décor for the club cost millions since they were imported from different countries.

For liquor, the club will serve up to 1,947 different types mostly imported.
Inside the club is a VIP boardroom that is soundproof and people can have their meetings and also enjoy themselves.
Also, the car park can accommodate150 vehicles and is under security surveillance 24/7.
Kimerameta Safari Lodge, Salama Beach Resort and Casuarina Bar and Restaurant are some of the hotels associated with Mike Sonko.
