KVDA plaza comprising the Northern and Southern wings is the second tallest building in Eldoret town standing at 193 ft just after Moi University pension scheme complex tower commonly referred to as Daima towers at 314ft.

The building's southern wing was established in 2016 with an estimated cost of Ksh 400 million under the former Chief Executive officer David Kimosop who revived the project after its stalling for close to twenty years.

It was aimed to meet the high demand for the modern office, and commercial spaces and increase income for the authority from 30 million from rent collection.

The 14-storey building also boasts of an international state-of-the-art conference auditorium fitted with modern gadgets with a capacity of 400 people.

The building's 90% occupancy can be attributed to its centralized location in the CBD and its close proximity to amenities like banks, police stations, restaurants, shopping malls, and Government offices all within a walking distance.

Office spaces are from the ground floor, Mezzanine, and first to twelfth floors as the thirteenth and fourteenth are occupied by the Kerio Valley Development Authority offices.

The KVDA Plaza offers more than five passenger lifts and a reserved VIP lift, common reception, common washrooms and kitchenette per floor, 24-hour security and CCTV surveillance, and a full backup generator.

The KVDA plaza is under the Kerio Valley Development Authority, one of the six regional development authorities (RDA) in Kenya established by an act of parliament CAP 441, mandated to undertake river basin conservation and management through integrated development programs.

Eldoret Town has a growing number of new commercial buildings attributed to demand for office space and stalls including the highlands mall, the anchor, and Imani house among others.

This will improve the face of the town and pave way for businesses and improve living standards and infrastructure.
